Maria Cristina Arrastia's mission within the organization is to propose, implement and control strategies aimed at generating value for the Bank's businesses and its subsidiaries in the markets and segments in the jurisdictions where we have a presence within the universal banking reference, aiming the consolidation and increase of the group's leadership in the market.

María was born in Medellín in December 1965. She is a Business Administrator who graduated from Universidad EAFIT.

She held several roles at Banco de Colombia, such as the Money Desk assistant manager and the regional manager of Corporate Banking in Antioquia.

She held the regional manager of Personal Banking and SMEs Antioquia from 1998 to 2009. Between 2009 and 2011, she served as general manager of Sufi.

She was appointed vice president of Credit, Consumer, and Housing in October 2011 and 2015 as vice president of Personal and SMEs.

Since 2019, she has served as Vice President of Business.
