    1. Strengthen the competitiveness of the productive sector

    • As a society, we need to develop a sustainable countryside: the main source of food and resources for humanity. The biggest economic, educational and social gaps exist in our countries. The countryside is more than just the agricultural sector, but we can make agriculture profitable and innovative, so that it can develop to its full potential given that it is one of the most important economic activities.
    • The most important part of the productive sector is made up of SMEs, for which the financial sector has a lot to do in terms of support for their needs. It is essential to generate more conditions to support entrepreneurship in order to boost employment, innovation and development.

     

    • The region's business community needs to improve its productivity and thus contribute to the country's competitiveness. The key lies in an industrial, technological and digital transformation, with human capital which is a differentiating factor and an enhancer of economic and competitive development.

    2. Build more sustainable cities and communities

    • Part of our role is to support companies on the path to transition to a lower-carbon economy.
