Claudia Echavarria’s mission within the organization is to direct, orient and establish the strategics and legal politics of Grupo Bancolombia, taking into account the corporate and legal framework, in order to identify, manage and mitigate legal risks implicit in the development of the organization’s activities.

Ms. Claudia is a Lawyer from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana. She holds a Master of Laws degree from Columbia University Law School and is admitted to the Bar of New York.

During her professional career, she has held the position of Vice President of Corporate Affairs and General Secretary of Almacenes Éxito, and had previously worked in Grupo Bancolombia, where she held various positions in the legal and investment banking área between 2004 and 2015.
