Economics undergraduate degree from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano. Master’s degree in economics from Universidad de los Andes. Acted as economist at United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), where he participated in financial and economic evaluation of alternative development projects. Likewise, served at the Colombian-Venezuelan Chamber of Commerce where he was responsible for monitoring economic relations between both countries, and at the District Cadastral Administrative Unit, updating Bogotá cadastral and consolidating the Real Estate Cadastral Observatory.
Professor at Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano; Escuela de Administración de Negocios; and at the Financial Management program of courses such as Colombian economy, macroeconomics, microeconomics and economic environment analysis. In 2008 he received the Portafolio Awards Honorable Mention in Colombia.
Mr. Riveros joined Bancolombia Group as International Markets economist in June 2009; acted as central banking economist as of September 2010, and currently serves as senior economist.
