Juan Escobar was born in 1969. He is a systems engineer from Universidad EAFIT, specializing in Electronic Business, and a master’s degree in Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey.

He holds a master’s degree in Actuarial Science from Georgia State, senior management studies from Kellogg School of Management, a digital transformation from the University of Virginia, among other courses associated with project management and management.

Mr. Escobar has been the CEO of Seguros Sura Colombia since 2018, a company where he has served in different positions such as Vice President of Insurance, Actuarial Manager, and Director of Automobiles.

He has been a member of different boards of directors in the corporate and social sectors.

He is not a PEP under Colombian regulation.
