Andrés was born in 1962. He is an economist from the University of Michigan. MBA from Universidad EAFIT, and Strategic Planning studies from Universitat de Barcelona. Senior Management from Universidad de Los Andes and EXPRO program in International Business at the CBI in Rotterdam, Holland.
He has extensive professional experience in foreign trade and international markets.

He is the General Manager of MU Mecánicos Unidos S.A.S., a company dedicated to metal casting and manufacturer of the Victoria brand.

Andrés has been a member of the Board of Directors of Protección, Sufinanciamiento, Edatel, Isagen, XM, Internexa and Fabricato, and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of ISA.

He is not a PEP under Colombian regulation.
