Banco Agrícola is the Bank of the year in El Salvador
The prestigious British magazine The Banker, elected Banco Agrícola as the Bank of the Year 2012 in El Salvador. After an intense analysis of all financial institutions in the Central American country, it is demonstrated that our subsidiary has maintained its business performance based on a strategy that combines growth with efficiency, being proactive with its customers through a service-oriented policy in order to satisfy their needs. Bancolombia, one of the most responsible companies and with the best corporate governance according to a study by MERCO 2012
Bancolombia was ranked on second place in MERCO’s (Monitor Empresarial de Reputación Corporativa) ranking of the 100 most responsible and with the best corporate governance in Colombia. This study involves the opinion of CEOs, NGO representatives, financial analysts, economic journalists, workers, academics, experts and the general public. In addition, within another category of MERCO´s study, Bancolombia was ranked on first place in the ranking of the Colombian financial sector 2012.

Bancolombia enters the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index
For the first time Bancolombia enters the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index, the global index that evaluates the sustainable management of more than 2,500 companies in 58 economic sectors worldwide. In the universe of 193 global banks, only 26 were chosen as part of the global sustainability index. Bancolombia was included with a score of 81 out of 100, and it is the only Colombian financial institution, out of four Latin American companies in this sector, that are part of this select group.

Euromoney recognized Bancolombia and Banco Agricola as the best banks in Colombia and El Salvador
The prestigious international magazine Euromoney granted the prize as best bank to Bancolombia in Colombia, and to Banco Agricola as the best bank in El Salvador in the ceremony of the Awards For Excellence 2012, which took place in London on July 5. This is a recognition that makes the publication to the optimal levels of capital, the continued growth of our assets, low levels of past due loans, transparency and high corporate governance standards held by these entities of Grupo Bancolombia.

Colombian Superintendent of Finance publicly recognizes Bancolombia for its participation in Colombian procedures simplification project
Colombian Superintendency of Finance recognized Bancolombia as a leader entity in the simplification of procedures, as the Group considered it as a corporate project and actively participated in the elimination of 15 requests for information by this regulatory agency, with 5 of them proposed by Bancolombia Group itself.

Bancolombia is the best bank in Colombia and in El Salvador according to Global Finance
Global Finance magazine released on March 20 the ranking of the best banks by region and country, a distinction that in the case of Colombia was obtained by Bancolombia and in El Salvador by Banco Agricola. The criteria for choosing the winners included growth in assets, profitability, strategic relationships, customer service, competitive prices and product innovation. It was also consulted the outlook of credit and capital analysts as well as financial consultants.

Bancolombia, the only entity in Colombia that is part of the Banks sector in The Sustainability Yearbook 2012
Bancolombia entered this year, for the first time, in The Sustainability Yearbook, a publication prepared by Sam Group each year. Its latest edition highlights 433 companies on global sustainability topics, i.e. 15 percent of the best classified on this matter, from the 2,500 companies in the Dow Jones Global Total Stock Market Index.
